Role Description The Digital Marketing Strategist will develop and execute marketing strategies to expand the readership and brand awareness of Books by Ifeoma Evelyn Anyigor. This full-time, on-site role based in Rome involves planning and managing digital campaigns across social media, email, and other online channels; optimizing content for audience engagement and conversion; and analyzing performance metrics to refine strategies.

Strategist will collaborate closely with the author and any creative partners to translate the themes and messages of the books into compelling digital narratives and campaigns. Daily tasks include campaign planning, content briefing, audience segmentation, SEO and analytics review, community engagement, and coordination with external vendors or platforms as needed.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in digital marketing strategy, campaign planning, and audience growth.
- Experience with social media management, content marketing, and email marketing tools.
- Ability to analyze data and metrics, using insights to optimize campaigns and improve ROI.
- Familiarity with SEO principles, web analytics platforms, and basic digital advertising (e.g., search and social ads).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex themes into accessible marketing messages.
- Demonstrated interest in literature, social issues, and storytelling, preferably with experience promoting books or creative work.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines on-site in Rome.
