AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we're the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on.
Diagnose and resolve hardware and network issues, including physical repairs and troubleshooting within Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Perform root cause analysis of equipment failures and coordinate with solution groups for complex problems. Work rotating shifts (morning, late, night) and weekends to maintain 24/7 data center operations.
Handle manual lifting of equipment in accordance with regulations. Travel locally up to 10% of the time and maintain a valid EU driving license.
Work Schedule This is a 100% onsite in-person position due to the hands‐on nature of managing mission‐critical infrastructure.
Our data centers are in remote areas outside Milan; a valid EU driving license is required. IT hardware troubleshooting experience.
Completed formal education, apprenticeship or training in an IT related field. Good command of English; all job interactions and recruitment will be in English. Valid driving license in Italy. Availability to work rotating shifts.
Diploma or equivalent formal qualification in an IT related field. Basic knowledge of Linux and experience with network protocols in a data‐center environment. Italy – 30,100.00 EUR gross annually (full‐time).
