We are looking for a patient, knowledgeable Albanian language tutor to teach a beginner adult student one on one over Zoom. Sessions are scheduled around mutual availability, so this is a good fit if you want steady part time work without a fixed timetable.

This is not a conversation practice role only. We want a tutor who can actually teach the language: build a structured plan, explain grammar clearly, and move the student from beginner toward real conversational ability.

What you will do

Teach live one on one Albanian lessons via Zoom

Build a lesson plan that progresses logically from basics to conversation

Explain Albanian grammar in plain terms, including verb conjugation, noun cases, definite and indefinite forms, and sentence structure

Correct pronunciation and build vocabulary the student will actually use

Assign light homework or practice between sessions and review it

Track progress and adjust pacing based on how the student is doing

Requirements

Native or fully fluent Albanian speaker

Strong English skills, since instruction and grammar explanations will be given in English

Ability to explain grammar rules clearly, not just speak the language





Prior teaching or tutoring experience preferred

Reliable high speed internet, a quiet space, working webcam and clear microphone

Comfortable using Zoom and sharing screen or documents

Dependable and punctual for scheduled sessions

Nice to have

Formal background in Albanian language, linguistics, education, or translation

Experience teaching Albanian to non native speakers

Familiarity with both Gheg and Tosk dialects

Your own teaching materials, worksheets, or curriculum
