We are looking for a passionate Accounting Specialist – Americas to join the administrative/accounting team located in Marghera (VE). In this role, you ensure the accurate recording and reconciliation of retail and digital sales flows, maintain general ledger integrity, and support periodic closing activities, financial reporting, and indirect tax compliance. You also assist the Finance team with accounting activities related to our LATAM and Canada subsidiaries.

Main Responsibilities Retail & E-Commerce Sales & Cash Reconciliation

- Sales & Cash Reconciliation: Perform and monitor periodic reconciliations between sales revenue generated by physical Retail Stores and E-Commerce platforms against actual cash collections (credit cards, digital payment gateways, bank deposits).
- Discrepancy Resolution & Cash Clearing: Promptly identify, analyze, and resolve discrepancies, variances, or mismatches between cash flows and recorded sales revenue.
- General Ledger & Journal Entries: Manage daily accounting journal entries related to store sales, customer refunds, payment gateway merchant fees, and bank clearing account reconciliations.

Accounting Support, Closing & Indirect Tax Compliance
- Month-End Closing Support: Support the Senior Finance team and the Regional Head of Finance during monthly and annual closing procedures, actively contributing to accruals preparation and reporting for the LATAM and Canada regions.
- Indirect Taxes (VAT, Sales Tax, etc.): Assist in preparing the necessary data for managing VAT, Sales Tax, and other local or foreign indirect taxes.
- Archive & Audit Readiness: Maintain organized physical and digital financial archives, ensuring documentation readiness for internal controls and auditor requirements.
- Operational Coordination & Support: Act as a daily liaison with store managers, payment processors, and local external bookkeeping/administrative consultants for LATAM, Canada,



and US entities.

Requirements

- Experience: Previous work experience in Accounting/Finance, preferably with exposure to foreign accounting in multinational corporate groups or structured environments within Retail / Fashion / Consumer Goods.
- ERP Systems: Hands-on experience with SAP or other advanced ERP systems
- Excel: Advanced proficiency in Excel (used for reconciling large data sets, pivot tables, lookup and analysis formulas).
- Languages: Fluent English (written and spoken), Proficiency in Spanish.
- Soft Skills: High level of accuracy, precision, and strong attention to detail when analyzing numerical data. Problem-solving mindset with an organized approach to managing tight deadlines and workload volumes. Strong communication skills, team spirit, and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders (Stores, HQ, external consultants).

Nice To Have

- General Accounting: Good knowledge of general accounting principles, double-entry bookkeeping, and ledger dynamics.
- Retail Reconciliations: Knowledge of reconciliation processes specific to Retail / E-Commerce (cash management, digital payment processing, POS, register clearing).
- Indirect Taxes: Basic knowledge of VAT, Sales Tax, and other local/foreign indirect tax mechanics.

For this role, the estimated gross annual salary range is €28,000 [Min] - €32,000 [Max], under the CCNL Abbigliamento, Confezioni – Industria/SMI, Level 4.
