ppOHB Italia is seeking for its Satellite and Missions Department in Rome/Torino/ Milano an /p pbAOCS GNC Architect m/f Ref.
Sat_AOCS_**** /b /p pAs an AOCS GNC architect, you will lead and drive the AOCS GNC activities along the whole project lifecycle, including design, development, integration, verification, launch and in-orbit operations.
This is applicable both for subsystems developed in OHB-I and subsystems contracted to a subcontractor.
You will be actively involved with other projects of the same product line, acting both as a keeper and an innovator of the product technical baseline, by proposing disruptive approaches to optimize the processes, reduce the Total Cost of Ownership and improve the schedule.
/p h3Tasks /h3 ul liTechnical Lead of AOCS/GNC subsystems /li liDevelop AOCS/GNC architectures and perform related trade-offs /li liLead the Design and Development of AOCS/GNC subsystems /li liTechnical management of AOCS/GNC subsystem subcontractor /li liTechnical Support to Procurement of AOCS/GNC equipment /li liLead the Verification and Validation of AOCS/GNC subsystems /li liSupport satellite AIT (hands?on)



and verification activities /li liSupport to satellite proposals and system studies for AOCS/GNC topics /li liPreparation of technical documentation /li liParticipation to Launch campaign /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liEngineering or doctoral degree in aerospace engineering or comparable qualifications and professional experience /li liExperience in the space business, especially with AOCS/GNC architectures, procurement, design and verification and validation processes /li liStrong knowledge of attitude and orbit dynamics, missions, SW, and AOCS/GNC equipment /li liExperience in satellite verification, including participation to AIT campaigns /li /ul ul liGood knowledge of Matlab/Simulink, Office Tools and DOORS /li liExcellent sense of responsibility /li /ul ul liStructured hands?on work?approach /li liHighly self?motivated and able to work autonomously /li liExcellent problem?solving skills /li liGood interpersonal skills /li liCustomer oriented thinking?approach /li liAbility to work in international teams /li liFluency in spoken and written English /li /ul h3Assets /h3 ul liExperience with Deep Space missions /li liKnowledge of Autocoding /li /ul /p #J-*****-Ljbffr
