We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Civil & Structural Design Engineer to join our team and play a key role in the development of plant facilities and modularized solutions for energy applications.
This position offers the opportunity to contribute to technically challenging and innovative projects, supporting the energy transition through efficient, safe, and industrialized design approaches.
As part of a dynamic engineering environment, you will be involved in the design of both structural systems and civil works associated with industrial plants, including structures, buildings, foundations, underground networks, drainage systems, roadways, and site support.
You will contribute to solutions that are integral to our plant layouts, with a strong focus on modularization, constructability, and lifecycle performance.
You will work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure seamless integration across all design aspects, manufacturing processes, and customer requirements.
This collaboration will help deliver technical solutions that are robust, compliant, and fully aligned with project specifications, execution strategies, and operational needs.
The role requires a proactive engineering mindset, with the ability to bridge concept development and application.
You will act as a technical reference point within the civil and structural discipline, contributing to project success through sound engineering judgment, effective communication,



and strong interface management across internal teams and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities Design, analyze, and verify structural systems to ensure integrity, safety, and compliance with relevant standards Develop engineering solutions for steel modules, platforms, structural steel frameworks, concrete foundations, and general civil works Create and maintain accurate design documentation, including engineering specifications, bills of materials, and design change requests Conduct design reviews and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the performance and reliability of construction plant equipment Interface directly with customers to understand technical requirements, present design solutions, and support project execution Collaborate with cross?functional teams to optimize designs for manufacturability, cost, and performance Participate in product development programs and continuous improvement initiatives Provide technical guidance and support to manufacturing engineers and clients during the erection/plant installation phase, addressing design?related inquiries and resolving issues Collaborate with Quality teams to develop and implement appropriate testing and inspection procedures to ensure compliance with quality standards Define and propose procedures and tool customization for improving design standardization with the aim to reduce cost and lead time, implementing internal standards and knowledge Fuel your passion Have a bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related field Have proven experience as Civil Design Engineer in complex Oil & Gas / Industrial / Energy solutions plants,



preferably in EPC companies Have consolidated expertise in the application of engineering tools for civil & structural design (e.g. SAP****, Staad, Midas, Ansys, Idea Statica, etc.) Have knowledge on both 3 D Plant Modelling tools (e.g. TEKLA, AVEVA E3 D) and 2 D design tool (i.e. Auto CAD) Have knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulations, including API, ASME, AISC, DNV, NTC and ASCE Show passion for innovation and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement Hold an EU work permit Fluent Italian and English language is mandatory Show strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills Have strong problem?solving skills, with the ability to analyze problems and develop effective solutions Be able to work collaboratively with other teams and departments within the organization Show organizational and time?management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Work in a way that works for you Working flexible hours – flexing the times when you work in the day to help you fit everything in and work when you are the most productive Benefits Contemporary work?life balance policies and wellbeing activities Comprehensive private medical care options Safety net of life insurance and disability programs Tailored financial programs Additional elected or voluntary benefits
The initial pay range for this position will be EUR 51,200 to 70,400.
The provisions of Contratto Collettivo Industria Metalmeccanica e della installazione di impianti will be applied to this position.
Section VI – Titolo IV of that collective bargaining agreement relates to pay.
