You'll serve as the technical SME within our R2R team, driving IFRS compliance, process automation, and delivering financial insights that support strategic decision-making.
This is a fantastic opportunity to lead transformational finance initiatives while mentoring junior team members in a fast-paced, international environment.Salary range: 40,720 euro - 55,990 euroLocation: Milan, Italy – Hybrid (3 day in the office 2 days WFH)Reporting to: Accounting & Insights Manager – R2RThese are some of the key components to the position:Lead monthly, quarterly and annual financial close processes, ensuring full IFRS and local GAAP compliance for Italian entitiesAct as technical accounting expert, managing complex journal entries, reconciliations, intercompany accounting and statutory reportingDrive R2R process improvement and automation initiatives using tools like SQL, Python or Power BI to enhance efficiencyPerform in-depth variance analysis across payroll, leasing, accruals and fixed assets, delivering actionable insights to senior leadershipMentor R2R team members,



sharing technical expertise and promoting best practice across the functionPartner with Finance, Payroll, Tax and Audit teams to ensure robust controls and seamless cross-functional collaborationOwn preparation and review of statutory financial statements for Italian entities, coordinating with external consultants as neededWhat will you bring to the team?
Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent) or actively pursuing recognized qualification, with deep IFRS expertiseProven track record leading month-end and year-end close, complex accounting and statutory reporting in multinational environmentsStrong proficiency with major ERP systems (SAP, Workday, Oracle) and advanced Excel, with experience using Power BI, SQL or PythonDemonstrated ability driving automation, standardization and continuous improvement within finance operationsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset and ability to translate insights for stakeholdersStrong collaboration and communication skills, building effective partnerships across Finance, Payroll, Tax and non-finance teamsAbility to manage competing priorities, adapt to changing deadlines and thrive in dynamic, high-growth environmentsAt JET,
