About the Role

For an international, fast-growing logistics and e-commerce organization, we are looking for an experienced Head of HR Italy (m/f/d) to lead the HR function during an exciting market-entry and scale-up phase in Italy.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys building structures from the ground up, partnering closely with senior management and supporting a rapidly growing operational organization.
Based near Milan Malpensa Airport, you will take ownership of the local HR strategy and operations and play a key role in establishing and scaling the organization in the Italian market
.
Your Responsibilities

Build and lead the HR function for the Italian organization during the ramp-up phase
Act as strategic HR partner to local and international management
Develop scalable HR processes, policies and structures aligned with Italian labor law and global standards
Drive workforce planning and support large-scale recruitment and organizational growth




Oversee the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, performance management, employee relations and offboarding
Ensure compliance with Italian employment legislation, HR policies and internal governance requirements
Manage compensation, benefits and payroll-related HR processes in cooperation with internal and external partners
Support the development of organizational structures, job levels and HR frameworks
Advise managers on labor law, performance, disciplinary and employee relations matters
Build a strong local culture while ensuring smooth collaboration between the Italian organization and international headquarters
Establish HR reporting, KPIs and workforce analytics to support management decisions
Build and develop the local HR team as the organization grows

Several years of progressive HR experience, ideally as Head of HR, HR Manager, Senior HR Business Partner or in
