Senior Manager, Italy Chief Risk Officer, Financial Risk Management

In this role you will lead the second line of defense for Financial Risk in the Italian market, strengthening governance and risk reporting for Italian Legal Entities. You will collaborate with LE leadership, regulators, and enterprise risk teams to align frameworks and drive risk-informed decision making. You’ll own risk metrics, policies, and interlocks with the RAF, ensuring effective remediation and visibility at the board and executive levels. - Lead RAF refresh alignment for ILE Financial Risk metrics with Enterprise where possible
- Provide credible challenge to LE projects and strategies in Change Advisory Forums
- Act as main Financial Risk contact for LE regulator, Audit, and ILE Leadership; support LE board discussions as needed
- Own ILE Financial Risk policies and frameworks; adapt Enterprise programs for ILE deployment




- Advise business on Financial Risk frameworks and their effective execution
- Coordinate with Enterprise on 2nd Line testing and provide ILE testing outputs for aggregation
- Ensure communication of risks between ILE and Enterprise; support CRO oversight duties
- Review issues and findings related to risk type impacting ILE and oversee remediation
- Lead 2nd Line oversight for Regulatory Change Management related to Risk Type
- Develop LE metrics dashboards aligned with RAF and applicable regulations
- Review, approve and challenge models impacting the ILE
- Lead a Financial Risk analyst
- 5+ years of leadership experience in risk management or similar role
- Strong business acumen with risk-reward control perspective
- Experience interacting with regulators and familiarity with Italian regulatory landscape
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
- Fluency in English and Italian (verbal and written)
- Advanced degree in business, economics, engineering, or related field preferred
