Job Summary:
The Treasury Analyst supports daily treasury operations, including cash management, payments processing, and funding activities. The role monitors cash flow, prepares reports, and assists with forecasting to ensure sufficient liquidity. It also ensures compliance with internal controls and policies while maintaining accurate records and supporting audits.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1) Cash Management
Monitor daily cash balances to support operational needs and maintain sufficient liquidity levels where required.
Prepare daily cash position reports to provide visibility into liquidity and support decision-making as appropriate.
Support cash pooling activities, fund transfers, and bank reconciliations to help ensure accuracy and data integrity.
Assist in developing short-term cash flow forecasts to support funding and investment planning where possible.
Review bank service fees and transaction costs periodically to identify potential cost optimization opportunities.
2) Payments & Funding
Process and validate vendor and intercompany payments in accordance with established procedures and timelines where applicable.
Support funding requirements by coordinating with internal stakeholders and financial institutions as needed.
Assist in the settlement of foreign currency (FX) transactions and support basic currency exposure management activities.
Contribute to month-end treasury
