We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join our multidisciplinary data and digital innovation team and help us evolve our data ecosystem, enabling informed decision-making across research, fundraising, operations and scientific communication activities.

THE ROLE
The successful candidate will play a key role in designing and developing modern data platforms, integrating multiple data sources and supporting the organisation’s growing adoption of advanced analytics and Artificial Intelligence.




This position combines technical engineering expertise with business understanding and stakeholder engagement. The role requires the ability to translate organisational requirements into scalable and maintainable data solutions, while helping shape the future data strategy of the organisation.
You will work closely with scientific teams, operational departments and executive stakeholders, contributing to initiatives that have direct impact on research outcomes and organisational effectiveness.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design, develop and maintain scalable enterprise data platforms supporting operational and analytical workloads
Build and optimise ETL / ELT processes integrating internal and external data sources
Develop robust semantic data models that enable self-service analytics and reporting
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and transform them into reliable data products
Support the evolution of the organisation’s repo
