QA Automation Engineer
Engagement: Full-time

Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer to join our client's engineering team and help ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of modern web applications and APIs. In this role, you'll design and maintain scalable automation frameworks, perform API and performance testing, collaborate closely with developers and product teams, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines and Shift Left testing practices.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and execute functional, regression, integration, and automated test cases.
Build, maintain, and enhance UI automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver with C#.
Develop and execute automated test scripts for web applications.
Perform API testing (manual and automated) using tools such as Postman or Insomnia.
Create and maintain API automation test suites.
Execute performance and load testing using Apache JMeter or similar tools.
Validate backend functionality using SQL and NoSQL databases.
Create comprehensive test plans, test strategies, reusable test cases,



and test data.
Review user stories, functional requirements, and change requests to ensure complete test coverage.
Identify, document, track, and verify defects through resolution.
Support system testing, regression testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Apply software testing techniques such as Boundary Value Analysis (BVA) and Equivalence Partitioning (EP).
Promote Shift Left Testing by participating in requirement reviews and integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines.
Collaborate closely with developers, DevOps engineers, business analysts, and product teams throughout the SDLC.
Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
Continuously improve testing processes and adopt new tools and technologies.

Requirements
5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or Software Engineering, including:
UI test automation
