Purpose of the position: As Well Control Equipment Engineer you will be part of the Drilling Offshore Business Line.
You will provide specialized technical support for the Drilling BOP (Blow Out Preventer) and Well Control equipment in use onboard Saipem Drilling Offshore fleet.
You will be responsible for developing technical expertise to plan and manage both routine and extraordinary maintenance. Additionally, the candidate will oversee the design, production, installation,
and testing phases of such equipment.
Periodic assessments will ensure the equipment complies with the latest relevant industry regulations (e.g., DNV, ABS, API, Norsok), and you will implement technical specifications for relevant upgrades as needed. In this role, you will require interdepartmental collaboration with colleagues from several departments of the Company (Operations, Onboard Personnel, Commercial, and Procurement) and you'll be required to travel within Italy, abroad, and offshore facilities. For specific or high-priority projects, travel assignments may extend up to six months.
Flexibility and strong teamwork skills are essential for success in this position.
