Overview
We’re hiring a Bilingual General Legal Impact Assistant (IA) to support attorneys and legal professionals with administrative and clerical tasks. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable handling documentation, light client communication, and basic research in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Document management and organizing case materials
• Data entry and maintaining accurate case records
• Drafting letters and basic correspondence
• Gathering and organizing important documentation
• Basic research and administrative support
• Handling basic client inquiries via email and phone
• Other clerical tasks as needed
Qualifications
• Minimum 1 year proven experience as a Legal Assistant
• Strong written and verbal English & Spanish communication skills
• Knowledge of legal terminology and client service best practices
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, CRM, case management software, and other legal software
• Detail-oriented and organized, able to meet deadlines
• Tech-savvy and comfortable using online tools in a remote setup
• Experience working in a remote or virtual environment
Schedule, Compensation, and Benefits
• Full-time, Monday to Friday
• Typical hours: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST, may vary by law firm (U.S. time zones)
• Weekend availability is a plus, depending on firm needs
• Starts at $6 USD/hour, with pay increase opportunity through an annual performance evaluation
• PTO, referral incentives, and bonuses (where applicable)
