HMI/SCADA Engineer - INDUSTRY

Responsibilities

-

- Develop and configure HMI and SCADA applications for monitoring and controlling industrial plants.

- Create synoptics, dashboards and operator interfaces for process supervision.

- Implement and integrate communication between SCADA systems, PLCs and field devices.

- Support testing, commissioning and startup of plants.

- Analyze and resolve issues related to supervisory and control systems.

- Prepare and update technical project documentation.

- Collaborate with automation, software and commissioning teams to integrate developed solutions.

- Contribute to improving performance, reliability and usability of HMI/SCADA systems.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Automation Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics or related disciplines, or an equivalent technical diploma.





- Minimum two years of experience developing HMI and/or SCADA systems in an industrial setting.

- Knowledge of one or more supervision software (e.g., Ignition, Wonderware, WinCC, Movicon, iFIX, FactoryTalk).

- Experience interfacing with industrial PLCs and industrial communication protocols.

- Ability to analyze industrial processes and translate operational requirements into supervisory solutions.

- Knowledge of industrial automation architectures and communication networks.

- Ability to read electrical schematics and technical documentation.

- Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.

Compensation

Annual gross salary between €31,000 and €35,000.

Benefits

The position is classified under the CCNL del Commercio e Terziario applied by ALTEN. Salary range is determined based on technical skills, specific experience in the role and selection outcomes.
