As Piping Flexibility Engineer , you will respond to the Head of Layout and Piping Engineering Department and be part of the ENCAR (Energy Carriers) Division and assigned to FEED or EPC project.
Responsibilities
How can you support us? Here below your responsibilities:

- A young talent to be trained in the layout design of industrial plants, within the oil & gas, petrochemical, renewables, and FPSO sectors with a particular focus on:
- Understanding and acknowledgment of piping stress analysis applications and requirements in Energy Industry
- Learn and master calculation software and tool and piping engineering support philosophy
- Reading and understanding of contractual documents and International Standard
- Perform selection of piping stress critical lines following contractual requirements and corporate standards
- Development of detailed engineering of stress calculation and support design in accordance with contractual requirements,
international standards, corporate standards and best practice
- Verification of issued documentation by service providers, JV partners, or third parties
- Understand the workflows within Piping Engineering discipline and between Piping and other departments such as Civil, Equipment, Process, Construction etc.
- Acoustic Induced Vibration (AIV) / Flow Induced Vibration (FIV) analysis
- Finite Element Analysis (FEA) for dedicated piping/mechanical components
- Field assistance during construction installation
- Design piping support and develop material take off
Qualifications
What are we looking for?

- Education: Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience: new graduate or 1-2 years of experience
- Languages: English (B2), Italian (mother tongue / C1)
- Technical/IT Skills: good knowledge of basic software xysqume tools (Office, Autocad/BricsCad); ability to explore and enhance in-house or commercial software with AI assisted tool to achieve project needs
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) and/or Ansys is a plus
