Experteer Overview As a BESS System Architect, you drive end-to-end battery energy storage system coherence from grid to cell. You influence cross-functional teams across R&D;, tendering, and product roadmaps, ensuring scalable, robust architectures. You will craft architecture documents, define system requirements, and guide integration for modular, software-enabled value offerings. This role combines technical authority with global collaboration to differentiate GPQSS BESS solutions.
Retribuzione / Benefits Define and evolve end-to-end BESS architecture from grid to cell (EBoP, PCS, batteries, protection, automation, software, services)
Act as architectural backbone for R&D;, ensuring coherence during development and integration
Own the architecture framework, reference models, and design principles for GPQSS BESS
Author and maintain architecture and system specification documents aligned with GPQSS standards
Lead system-level requirement definition with traceability across disciplines
Identify and manage cross-domain dependencies (electrical, mechanical, control, software,
cybersecurity, services)
Provide architectural guidance during tendering, feasibility studies, and pre-FEED activities
Support execution teams in resolving complex system-level and integration issues
Contribute to technology roadmaps (modularization, pre-engineering, standardization, platforms)
Enable differentiation through software-enabled value stacking and service-oriented architectures
Collaborate with Product Management, CoC, T&SD;, suppliers and partners to align on architecture
Influence across global, multicultural teams without line authority
Responsabilità Master's degree in Engineering, Power Systems, Control Engineering, or equivalent
Minimum 10 years of experience in Battery Energy Storage Systems or related grid-scale energy systems
Proven ability to define complex architectures and write high-level architecture and system specs
