Mission rina is recruiting a railway field laboratory senior assessor for its Florence office, within the transport infrastructure certification division.
Key Accountabilities Assessment and validation support: collaborate with senior assessors to execute assessment and validation activities on railway projects, ensuring compliance with internal quality procedures, accreditation requirements, legal frameworks and industry standards.
Delivery assurance: take ownership of specific tasks within assessment and verification plans, guaranteeing punctual and high‐quality deliverables under guidance.
Project contribution: assist project teams to achieve objectives, applying methodical problem‐solving and project execution approaches.
Compliance and standards monitoring: conduct thorough reviews and inspections aligned with accreditation protocols and legislative mandates, contributing to continuous quality improvement.
Technical knowledge development: facilitate exchange and growth of technical expertise by documenting findings, participating in workshops and mentoring peers.




Client feedback analysis and service improvement: gather and analyse client feedback to identify service enhancement opportunities and support quality initiatives.
Project management assistance: support project tracking activities, including progress monitoring, resource coordination and reporting.
Design verification support: assist with design verification tasks, applying relevant standards, structural integrity checks and auditing quality system documentation.
Travel and on‐site support: provide extensive travel (50‐75% of time) to project sites for hands‐on support and direct engagement with testing activities.
Education & Qualifications Master's degree in mechanical engineering; experience in railway companies or laboratories; knowledge of assessment, validation and testing procedures; familiarity with international and European railway standards.
Requirements Driving licence type B.
