The Solution Architect Role
At Exelab we don't sell off‐the‐shelf products: we build custom solutions, treating every client engagement as a mini product cycle. The Solution Architect is a senior full stack engineer with broader responsibility: the technical owner of the engagement, accountable end‐to‐end for one or more parallel projects, and still hands‐on in the codebase.
Our stack is polyglot by design: NodeJS and Python are first‐class backend languages and the Solution Architect is expected to be fluent in both.



Python in particular plays a central role across data integrations, automations, and AI/ML workflows—a meaningful share of what we ship has Python at its core.
In our delivery framework, the Solution Architect works in a duo with the Value Builder:
Value Builder – owns business value, client outcomes, product direction
Solution Architect – owns solution design, technical feasibility, delivery quality
The two roles are peers. The partnership between them is what makes our engagements work.
