Overview Experteer OverviewAs Senior Mechanical Application Engineer, you will lead mechanical input for subsea tenders and early project work, translating client needs into robust equipment concepts. You will act as a technical bridge among customers, commercial teams and engineering, shaping fit-for-purpose subsea solutions. You'll design and review mechanical layouts, mentor junior engineers, and support risk assessments and design reviews. Your work enables safe, reliable subsea systems while collaborating across cross-functional teams to deliver value. commercial and project engineering Provide technical support to commercial teams during bid preparation and client presentations Ensure solutions meet industry standards (API, ISO), internal practices, and customer requirements Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives Support risk assessments, design reviews, and lessons learned activities Responsibilities Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline Proven experience in mechanical design or application engineering within subsea oil & gas Strong understanding of Subsea Production Systems, including Subsea Christmas Trees, Tubing Hangers and tooling Proficient in engineering software (Auto CAD, Math CAD, Teamcenter) Experience in requirements management and interface management; proficient in DOORs and Smart PDF Excellent communication and stakeholder management Ability to manage multiple priorities in
