INSURANCE LIFE & INVESTMENTS OPERATIONS SPECIALIST

In this role you will own end-to-end back-office operations for insurance-based investment products, with a focus on unit-linked/IBIPs. You will work closely with distribution channels and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth policy lifecycle management and issue resolution. You will identify process gaps, propose practical improvements, and drive operational excellence. This role offers hands‑on ownership within a collaborative, mission-driven environment that prioritizes customer‑centric delivery. You will join a broader Allianz team that values integrity, inclusion, and cross-functional partnership.

- Manage full lifecycle of LIFE policies including issuance, amendments, endorsements, surrenders, withdrawals, fund switches, and premium processing
- Provide day-to-day operational support to banks, financial advisors, and intermediaries
- Handle post-sale activities and operational requests
- Interface with external providers (IT systems,



administration platforms)
- Collaborate with Compliance, AML, Finance, IT, and Sales
- Contribute to continuous improvement of operational processes
- Bachelor in Economics/Finance/Business Administration or equivalent experience
- 10-15 years of experience in insurance back office/operations
- Proven experience with insurance-based investment products (unit-linked, xysqume IBIPs)
- Strong understanding of insurance operational processes and policy administration
- Familiarity with AML and compliance requirements
- Strong analytical mindset and high attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint); knowledge of ChatGPT or equivalent tools
- Fluent in Italian and English (written and spoken)
