ABOUT THE ROLE
R & D Laboratory Technician
Job Purpose
Joining a dynamic and motivated Material Laboratory team, the MATERIAL LABORATORY TECHNICIAN, with a Technical background and the desire to support analysis, investigation, research and development,



will be involved in a variety of laboratory-based activities within Mixing/Vulcanization/Preparation Lab. The candidate will carry out preparation, sampling, measuring, recording results. He will provide all the required technical support to enable the laboratory to function effectively, while adhering to correct procedures and health and safety guidelines.
Responsibilities
Preparing, mixing and vulcanizing specimens and samples
Recording results to present to supervisors/senior colleagues and to lab customers
Carrying out routine tasks accurately and following strict methodologies to carry out analyses
Maintaining and operating standard laboratory equipment
Ensuring the laboratory is well‐stocked and resourced
Using computers
Following and ensuring strict safety procedures and safety checks
Qualifications & Experience Required
Education
Technical High school diploma minimum requirement (e.g. Mechanical; Chemistry
