The company has developed a proprietary process to recover critical raw materials from industrial waste streams and is now entering a pivotal phase: industrialisation and multi‑site scale‑up across Europe. As a result of continued growth, they are now seeking a General Manager to partner closely with the CEO and lead this transition from technology to a fully operational industrial platform.
Opportunity
- Lead the industrial scale‑up of a first‑of‑a‑kind process
- Build and optimise operations across multiple sites
- Play a central role in shaping the organisation, strategy, and execution roadmap
- Contribute to fundraising and investor engagement
- Operate at the forefront of the circular economy and critical materials space
Key Responsibilities
- Drive execution of the company’s strategy with a strong focus on operations and industrialisation
- Lead plant scale‑up and multi‑site operations,
ensuring delivery against timeline, cost, and performance targets
- Oversee supply chain, procurement, and manufacturing processes in a complex and evolving environment
- Build and develop an effective organisational structure, hiring and leading high‑performing teams
- Partner with the CEO and leadership team on strategic initiatives and growth plans
- Support fundraising activities and investor relations
Candidate Profile
- Senior industrial leader with 15+ years of experience in industrial environments such as advanced materials, chemicals, water/wastewater, metals, or related sectors
- Strong track record in operations leadership and industrial execution
- Experience in scaling operations, industrialisation, or plant start‑up / expansion
- Exposure to multi‑site environments and cross‑functional leadership
- Hands‑on, pragmatic approach with the ability to operate in high‑growth / ambiguous env
