Associate Specialist Operational Excellence
Location: Borgo San Michele – Latina. 12‑month fixed term contract.
Overview
As an Operational Excellence Associate Specialist, you will join a dynamic team focused on improving operational performance through Lean methodologies, data analytics, digital transformation, and sharing best practices across pharmaceutical operations.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret data to support business decisions and performance improvements.
- Develop and apply statistical models and analytical tools to identify opportunities and make improvements visible.
- Support Lean manufacturing practices, Continuous Improvement, and Operational Excellence initiatives across the site.
- Design and participate in structured site performance management system (scorecard, dashboard, KPI, root‑cause problem‑solving).
- Participate in structured problem‑solving activities to eliminate losses.
- Collaborate with local and global stakeholders in a dynamic multicultural environment.




- Support the adoption of data‑driven decision‑making and continuous improvement practices.

Qualifications / Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Statistics, Data Science, Scientific Disciplines, or related field.
- Analytical mindset and interest in data‑driven decision‑making.
- Proficiency with Excel and data analysis tools.
- Familiarity with statistical methods and analytical models.
- Understanding of Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) concepts.
- Knowledge of Lean methodologies and Continuous Improvement principles.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities.
- English proficiency at B1 level or above.
- Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or manufacturing environments preferred.
- Basic understanding of GMP requirements.
- Experience with SAP, SQL, Power BI or similar analytics platforms.
- Problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
- Ability to engage stakeholders and work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
