Responsibilities Deliver the vision to build a best‐in‐class GM Tax function. Handle all wing‐to‐wing tax reporting and tax accounting processes including forecasting, tax provision, compliance and settlements. Work with our tax services vendor to drive innovation, cost efficiencies and the highest level of service. Coordinate the end‐to‐end employee tax support experience for the Region.



Stay connected with market practices and help implement leading‐edge solutions for the tax program. Balance strategy and execution with the practical challenges of operating in a large and complex organization. Develop and optimize tax planning strategies, streamline processes, and drive solutions with regional tax leads for operational challenges. Communicate effectively with other functional areas and influence peers to meet objectives. Invest in and maintain connections with leadership and key stakeholders to build the existing GM brand. Engage stakeholders to educate and drive continuous improvements. Execute other initiatives within the scope and purpose of the role. Qualifications Exhibit strong leadership skills, executive presence, and ability to navigate complex situations.
