Your Role
Key contributor to SiC Technology volume ramp‑up. Work location: new mass production fab in Catania for manufacturing devices on SiC substrates. The facility is the first of its kind in Europe for volume production of 8” SiC devices, integrating all steps in the production flow. The main tasks of the Process Engineer are to optimize and improve the efficiency of manufacturing equipment and industrial processes, with special focus on start‑up and qualification of equipment and processes to support capacity ramp‑up.
Responsibilities
- Install and qualify new equipment and processes, collaborating closely with suppliers.
- Monitor equipment performance in production and troubleshoot equipment failures.
- Create new FDC strategies to improve process and equipment robustness.
- Optimize process and equipment performance to improve overall efficiency, quality, cost and cycle time.
- Ensure the quality and stability of processes and availability of production equipment by providing daily operational support and resolving technical issues.
- Train,



mentor and develop the skills of process technicians, ensuring adherence to established methods and processes.
- Support the introduction of new technologies and processes.

Skills & Experience
- Master’s degree in a scientific subject (Engineering, Material Science, Physics, Chemistry).
- Experience in silicon/SiC processing and flow knowledge is a plus.
- Experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus.
- Fluent English is a must.
- Good communication skills and teamwork ability.
- Commitment, proactivity and curiosity.

Salary & Benefits
The expected salary range is €38,000 – €45,000 gross annual salary (RAL), plus variable pay relevant for the role.
