As a Project Engineer at ABB E-mobility, you sit at the technical heart of our Europe Projects team—turning customer‑specific engineering challenges into clean, scalable, repeatable solutions. From large depot installs and new product introductions to non‑standard integrated systems, you will own the technical delivery from order commitment through Site Acceptance Testing (SAT). Working hand‑in‑hand with Customer Success Managers, Sales, Product, and Operations teams, your expertise directly enables ABB’s customers to charge smarter, faster, and more reliably across Europe. In This Role Your Main Accountabilities Will Be




- Translate Complexity into Scalable Solutions – Convert recurring, customer‑specific engineering challenges into standardized, reusable frameworks—covering site design, power distribution (up to 600V), cable/breaker sizing, single line diagrams, control circuits, and integration of ABB E‑mobility products with third‑party systems
- Drive Installation & Commissioning Readiness – Review customer site design documentation for accuracy and completeness, validate installation details, conduct site walkdowns, and confirm readiness for commissioning—ensuring every deployment meets contractual milestones and ABB quality standards
- Own Troubleshooting from Commissioning Through Post‑Site Acceptance – Provide expert technical support for site electrical, interoperability, and system integration issues across commissioning, SAT, and post‑acceptance phases.
