Job Description
Hitachi Rail is seeking an enthusiastic, self‑motivated Power Supply and Traction Power Engineer to join our team. The role involves a broad range of tasks from administrative to strategic within a fast‑paced environment, based in Piossasco (TO), Italy.
Accountabilities
- Identify and resolve PS & TP interfaces with main subsystems (e.g., Signalling, CW, Auxiliary systems, etc.).
- Ensure delivery of every system complies with engineering guidelines, quality standards, timing and cost constraints.
- Interface with the Commissioning Manager to plan and coordinate site tests and operational activities according to schedule.
- Execute verification activities on Power Supply & Traction Power documents in accordance with the V&V; Plan.
- Perform tests, issue test reports, and raise non‑compliances following quality procedures.




- Support knowledge capitalization and sharing related to PS & TP (best practices, lessons learned, etc.).

Required Skills / Knowledge
- 3-5 years of related experience.

Desired Skills / Knowledge
- Experience in power supply & traction power projects, especially Metro Rail projects.
- At least one year of experience in railway systems, traction power & power supply design and commissioning activities.

Education / Qualifications
- Technical degree or equivalent technical background.

Languages
- English proficiency.

Compensation: Gross annual salary between 36,000€ and 46,000€.
Legal Reference: The position is governed by the current CCNL for the private metalworking industry, classified at level B2.
