** Our team and mission**- The PA&S; Offices are responsible for the assurance of all space relevant aspects within the associated directorates and support the Independent Safety Office regarding Space Debris Mitigation and Safety activities.- ** Field(s) of activity for the internship**-
-** Topic of the internship: Evolving Product Assurance and Safety for Launch Systems to increase cost-effectiveness and improve time to fly**-In the framework of this internship, you will perform, lead, and facilitate activities as support to your tutor, including, but not limited to:
-- support the extension of ESA mission classification to Space Transportation Systems;
- support the collection of Lessons Learnt from STS projects, especially STS PNRR and FLPP and the implementation of identified recommendations;
- support the Quality Management System evolution especially in improving the actual processes related to Knowledge Management;
- contribution to the deployment and implementation of a data driven Quality and Safety approach by rolling out dedicated cockpits to visualize pre-agreed data and definition of best practices to enhance quantitative analyses;
- support Quality improvement activities within the industry aimed at increasing the robustness of the current and future launch systems. **Behavioural competencies**-

** Education**-
-You must be a university student, preferably studying at master’s level. In addition, you must be able to prove that you will be enrolled at your University for the entire duration of the internship.-
** Additional requirements**-
-The working languages of the Agency are English and French. A good knowledge of one of these is required. Knowledge of another ESA Member State language is an asset.-
You should also have the capability to work with autonomy and questioning the status quo to identify and introduce substantial improvements with the aim of capitalising as much as possible on new technologies and New Space approaches.-You need to be familiar with modern IT tools and possess an analytical and problem-solving attitude to facilitate the implementation of “easy” solutions to “complex” problems.** Diversity, Equity and Inclusiveness**
