The role:

A Test Engineer is in charge to define and carrying out the tests to verify the performances of the complete products, subassemblies, or pertinent ancillaries. The test engineer will be responsible for managing the test lab and optimizing the workspace. Define the test set up necessary to carry out the tests, make the electrical drawings and coordinate the activities of the team that will build the test set up.

What kind of work will you be doing?

- Define the tests set up and its script to verify the performances of the complete products.
- Definition of measurements (typology, time, sequence …) concerning the test to be carried out.
- Make electrical drawings and coordinate the activities of the team that will build the test set up.
- Analyze the test results in a critical and manner realize the proper reports.
- Filtering all the technical/quality aspects and potential issues involving the pertinent dept in charge (R&D;/Quality) if it is the case so that to ensure the equipment fully matches with expectations.
- Produce and verify technical documentation such as electrical drawings; User and Installation manual; procedures; data sheet etc.
- Support the regular production in case of issues occurring during the tests of the products.




Support WT Team and customers during Demo or witness test activities to provide technical explanation if required.

What will make you successful?

- Bachelor’s degree in electrical/Electronic with experience in equivalent areas (e.g., UPS, Power converter or low voltage electrical distribution)
- Excellent planning, organizational, documentation, and communication skills are required.
- Good knowledge of testing tools and laboratory instrumentation (e.g. Oscilloscope, logger, power analyzer)
- Good knowledge of electrical power components.
- Capability of writing professional technical documentation in English.
- Good team working attitude and communication.
- 1-2 years of experience.
- Good English skills.
- Customer oriented and availability to travel (10%)

The anticipated salary range for this role in Castel Guelfo (BO), Italy locality is between € 38,000 to € 46,000 gross per year (based on a full-time working week). Certain roles may be eligible for variable compensation and benefits. Where applicable, a comprehensive overview of the full benefits package and any additional compensation will be provided during the recruitment process in accordance with local legal requirements. Compensation is determined based on objective, gender-neutral criteria, including skills, experience, and job responsibilities.

The applicable National Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCNL) for this role is Metalmeccanico Industria.
