ppTecnimont, MAIRE’s flagship company for Integrated EC solutions with a presence in multiple countries, is an established powerhouse in the realm of innovative engineering and construction services, crafting the infrastructure for tomorrow's world. /ppTecnimont is seeking bEngineering Processes Digitalization Junior Engineer /b to join our team in Catania. /ppThe successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing integrated solutions for complex plants designed to provide access to the latest technologies in our large-scale projects worldwide. /ppWith a rich heritage of technological innovation and a forward-thinking approach, we lead the energy transition through engineering excellence, cutting-edge technology and strong and dynamic execution capability. /ppTo learn more about Tecnimont: Tecnimont - Official Website | Tecnimont /ppThe Recruitment process is managed by Key2People, a partner of Tecnimont. /ppFollowing the guidelines of the Engineering Processes Digitalization Head of Department, the resource will have the following main responsibilities. /ppProcess Simulation Governance: /pulliMap and analyze the current utilization of Process Simulation tools across Group companies, identifying use cases, methodologies, best practices and improvement opportunities. /liliDefine and maintain standards, guidelines and governance models for the adoption of Process Simulation technologies. /liliSupport the selection and assessment of simulation platforms and related applications, evaluating their suitability for different engineering scenarios and project phases. /liliCollaborate with Process Engineering departments to identify opportunities for improving engineering efficiency, quality and automation through simulation technologies. /li /ulpDigital Integration and Engineering Processes: /pulliStandardize the adoption of Process Simulation tools within the Engineering Digital Landscape, ensuring consistency with engineering workflows and data management. /liliSupport the integration of simulation platforms with other engineering systems including process design applications, equipment data management systems, material management platforms, document management solutions, digital twin and AI-enabled engineering tools. /liliSupport the implementation of data exchange standards and interoperability between Process Simulation tools and other engineering platforms.
/liliCollaborate with engineering disciplines and digitalization teams to ensure the effective reuse of process simulation data throughout the project lifecycle. /li /ulpInformation Management Support: /pulliAssist project teams in defining information workflows, data ownership, information exchange requirements and digital deliverables related to Process Simulation activities. /liliEnsure the proper governance, quality, consistency and lifecycle management of engineering information generated or consumed by Process Simulation tools. /liliContribute to the definition and implementation of engineering data standards, information models and digital workflows aimed at improving the accessibility, traceability and reuse of process engineering information. /liliSupport the integration of Process Simulation deliverables within the broader Engineering Information Management ecosystem, ensuring alignment with corporate standards. /li /ulpTechnology Evaluation and Innovation: /pulliMonitor market trends and emerging technologies in the fields of Process Simulation, AI-assisted engineering, Digital Twins and Engineering Information Management. /liliContribute to the definition of the Group roadmap for Process Simulation technologies and related engineering applications. /liliSupport the evaluation of new digital solutions capable of enhancing engineering productivity, collaboration and information management. /li /ulpContinuous Improvement: /pulliCollect and analyze feedback from users and engineering disciplines to identify opportunities for process and technology optimization. /liliIdentify synergies between Process Simulation technologies and other engineering applications to improve data consistency and workflow efficiency. /liliStay consistently up to date on relevant technologies, engineering methodologies and digital transformation initiatives within the scope of responsibility, ensuring continuous innovation and improvement. /li /ulpPreferred Background and Skills: /pulliMaster degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines. /liliKnowledge of Process Simulation software such as Aspen HYSYS, Aspen Plus, PRO/II, UniSim, gPROMS,
DWSIM or equivalent platforms. /liliFamiliarity of EPC engineering processes, engineering data flows and Information Management principles. Interest in Digital Transformation, Artificial Intelligence and Digital Twin solutions. /liliStrong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills. Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken.
