In this role, you are responsible for ensuring financial statement accuracy, timely execution of monthly and annual closing activities, and compliance with local tax requirements across the Americas region. Acting as a key operational bridge between local entities, the Chief Corporate Americas, FPA/Controlling, and the Italian HQ, you facilitate alignment, coordination, and effective financial governance across the region /p pbMain Responsibilities: /b /p ul libMonth-End Close Consolidation: /b Lead the monthly and annual closing process for LATAM and Canada entities, ensuring strict alignment with local GAAP and Group accounting standards. /li libGeneral Ledger Balance Sheet: /b Oversee journal entries, bank and balance sheet reconciliations, and financial analyses to maintain financial integrity across all local entities. /li libLocal Consultant Management: /b Operational management of external bookkeeping outsourcers and tax advisors, monitoring deadlines, accuracy, and deliverable quality. /li libTax Statutory Audits: /b Act as the primary regional point of contact for tax matters (VAT/Sales Tax, Corporate Tax) and manage local and Group annual statutory audits. /li libNew Country Set-Up Expansion: /b Provide administrative and accounting support for extraordinary projects,
including onboarding and launching new legal entities or retail stores across LATAM Canada. /li /ul pbUS Subsidiary – Operations Reconciliations /b /p ul libSales Cash Clearance (US): /b Perform regular reconciliations between reported store sales (US Retail Stores E-Commerce) and actual cash/tender clearances. /li /ul pbProcess Excellence Stakeholder Management /b /p ul libGovernance Process Improvement: /b Drive continuous process improvement, automation, and system enhancements in close collaboration with HQ and Global Transformation teams. /li libStakeholder Management: /b Act as the primary point of contact for regional finance matters, coordinating local and remote cross-functional teams. /li /ul pbRequirements: /b /p pbTechnical Skills /b /p ul libAccounting Tax Expertise: /b In-depth knowledge of general accounting principles, month-end close procedures, and tax/administrative logic. /li libERP Systems: /b Hands-on operational knowledge of SAP. /li libExcel: /b Proficient in Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas, data reconciliations). /li libLanguages: /bFluent English (written and spoken) is mandatory for daily communication with international stakeholders. /li /ul pbNice to Have (Plus) /b /p ul liProficiency in Spanish. /li liKnowledge of Group reporting, consolidation processes,
and IFRS principles. /li liSpecific experience with LATAM/Americas accounting and tax regulations (e.g., local tax compliance, e-invoicing requirements). /li liPrior experience managing distributed/remote teams or international third-party outsourcers. /li liPrevious background in structured multinational environments, preferably within Retail, Fashion, or Consumer Goods. /li /ul pbSoft Skills /b /p ul liStrong analytical, synthesis, and problem-solving skills. /li liProactive, flexible attitude with a proven ability to manage tight deadlines under pressure. /li liExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, with cultural adaptability across global teams. /li /ul pFor this role, the estimated gross annual salary range is €35,000 (Min) - €40,000 (Max), under the CCNL Abbigliamento, Confezioni – Industria/SMI, Level 5.
