This individual will have complete ownership of the payroll function. This individual performs all activities necessary to process payroll, including maintaining related records, filing tax reports and voluntary deduction reports, processing involuntary deductions such as levies and garnishments, preparing accounting transactions and documents, documenting and updating procedures, and preparing special reports for senior management. /p pPosition requires minimal travel (approximately up to 10%) for initial training at an NMG site or on an as-needed basis. /p h3Key Responsibilities: /h3 h3Payroll Processing Administration /h3 ulliFull-cycle payroll processing for multi-state, multi-site operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. /liliValidate timecards, attendance data, and system integrations prior to payroll submission. /liliProcess manual checks, adjustments, and off-cycle payments. /liliReconcile payroll each cycle and validate reports prior to final transmission. /liliMaintain payroll records, audit trails,



and employee data integrity. /li /ul h3Compliance, Taxation Reporting /h3 ulliEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws, including overtime, double-time, meal premiums, final pay, and wage statement requirements. /liliProcess garnishments, levies, child support orders, and other involuntary deductions. /liliManage quarterly and annual payroll tax filings, including W-2s and year-end reconciliations. /liliUnderstand and apply proper taxation of employer-paid benefits. /liliPrepare payroll-related reports and ad hoc analyses for management. /li /ul h3Systems, Vendors Data Management /h3 ulliWork within HRIS/payroll systems and ERP environments. /liliManage vendor files and transactions related to 401(k), FSA, HSA, and other vantaggi programs. /liliSupport EDI feeds and troubleshoot file transmission issues. /liliPartner with HR and Finance to ensure alignment of employee data, benefits, and payroll outputs. /li /ul h3Cross-functional support: /h3 pAssist the Finance team with general accounting or finance-related tasks. /p ulliAdhere to federal and state regulations. /liliAdhere to all company policies, processes, and procedures. /liliPerforms other duties as requested, directed, or assigned. /liliPredictable and reliable attendance. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 h3Qualifications: /h3 pbEducation/Learning Experience /b: High School Diploma or GED /p pbWork Experience /b: Minimum experience range 3-5 years hands-on payroll experience required in manufacturing industry, with at least 3 years in multi-state payroll. Five years of experience is strongly preferred. /p h3Skills/Knowledge:



/h3 ulliStrong knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations, time attendance processing, payroll/tax reporting and reconciliation, and wage and hour laws. /liliProficiency with payroll software and HRIS systems. /liliExcel proficiency /liliExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. /liliExceptional attention to detail and accuracy. /liliStrong communication and interpersonal skills. /liliAbility to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment. /liliGeneral accounting fundamentals /li /ul h3Additional Information /h3 ulliThis position requires candidates to be a U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident Alien, or Protected Individual per 8 U.S.C. §1324b(a)(3) bdue to ITAR and/or CUI compliance. /b /liliCandidates being considered for hire bmust successfully pass a pre-employment background check. /b /li /ul h3Compensation and Benefits: /h3 pPay Range: $72k - $82k (Pay to be determined by the experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the candidate, and alignment with market data) /p pBenefits Offered: Comprehensive benefit package including medical, dental and vision coverage; company-paid basic life/ADD insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance; voluntary supplemental insurances, flexible spending accounts and employee assistance program (EAP).
