The first 12-weeks of employment for our Financial Specialists are devoted to you and your learning/training. /ppYour role, involves understanding members' needs, offering financial education, consultative sales - making tailored recommendations to help them achieve their financial goals and dreams. /ppAs a Financial Specialist, you'll experience the meaningful impact of your assistance, guiding members through pivotal financial moments such as opening their first account, securing loans, and planning for retirement. If yes, then this is the job for you! /ppbThis Financial Specialist training class has a start date of September 21st. /b /ph3Responsibilities /h3pbA Day in the life of a Financial Specialist /b /ppEvery day will be different, but below is a snapshot of what you will do: /pulliStart the day at your assigned branch location and meet with you team for a morning huddle to discuss updates and goals for the day /liliGreet members as they come into the branch and be a resource to our members /liliMeet with members to learn about their financial goals and educate them on financial products and services /liliOpen up accounts, complete loan applications,
answer member questions, and handle transactions /liliJoin the weekly 8:00 a.m. team meeting to learn about team updates, branch news, and new products /liliUnderstand all credit union products and services through training and self-guided learning tools /liliCall members to check-in and follow-up on new account activity /liliPartner with team members to meet the goals for product sales and referrals /liliBe a leader at the branch and serve as a mentor and positive role model for Tellers and Financial Specialists /liliHandle escalations to effectively address critical member needs and concerns /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3pbuWhat You’ll Need to Succeed /u /b /ppbThese skills and experiences are essential to your success: /b /pulli3+ years of customer service and/or consultative sales experience /liliDemonstrated analytical, accuracy and problem-solving skills /liliAbility to learn a wide range of knowledge and continue to learn and develop your skill-setin a robust feedback environment /liliStrong verbal and written interpersonal communication skills /liliAbility to develop and maintain positive relationships and provide top-notch service /liliDemonstrated experience being flexible, adaptable, coachable,
