In this role you support the production schedule by coordinating supplier materials, expediting deliveries, and maintaining optimal inventory. You communicate with suppliers to ensure on-time, in-full deliveries within MOQs and lead-times, while resolving issues and escalating where needed. You’ll manage purchase orders, maintain ERP master data, and drive material savings through effective negotiation and cost control. You will work cross-functionally with R&D;, applications, and operations to align purchasing with business goals. This is a hands‑on position with a clear impact on schedule reliability and cost efficiency.

- Coordinate supplier scheduling and expediting to meet production needs

- Maintain accurate purchase orders and ERP data, monitor statuses, and close orders promptly

- Manage supplier performance through OTDI activities and action plans for poor performers





- Proactively expedite against forward order books and address shortages for customers and production

- Identify and pursue material savings, negotiate favorable POs and reduce extra costs

- Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D;, Applications, and operations to align purchasing with business goals

- Support supplier development and maintain supplier data in ERP in line with sourcing agreements

- Monitor inventory levels and elevate risks of overstocks or stockouts

- Handle invoice queries and problem resolution related to deliveries and quantities

- Experience in xysqume the use of ERP systems

- Knowledge of basic mechanics

- Ability to read technical drawings

- Experience with inventory management in a manufacturing environment

- IT proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint

- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills

- Negotiation and clear communication to resolve discrepancies without harming supplier relations

- Analytical skills with ability to review commodity indices and inventory reports
