Job Description

The Commis de Cuisine supports the culinary team in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of food, ensuring the highest standards of quality, hygiene, and guest satisfaction expected in a luxury 5-star hotel. The role provides an excellent opportunity to develop culinary skills while working alongside experienced chefs in a professional and fast-paced environment.

- Prepare ingredients including vegetables, meats, fish, sauces, and garnishes according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of menu items for restaurants, banquets, room service, breakfast, and special events.
- Ensure food is prepared and presented according to hotel quality standards.
- Support the brigade during service periods while maintaining consistency and attention to detail.
- Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating products according to FIFO procedures.
- Follow HACCP procedures and food safety regulations at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of equipment, work areas, and storage rooms.




- Ensure proper handling, labeling, and storage of food products.
- Comply with all health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

- Culinary diploma or equivalent professional training preferred.
- Previous internship or experience in hotels, restaurants, or catering operations is considered an asset.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
- Understanding of food hygiene and safety practices.

- Gross annual salary range: 21.200 - 22.000 euro
