Project Radioprotection Specialist (f/m/d)

This role is well suited to an ambitious professional looking for the next step in their career, with the opportunity to lead radiation protection activities across site design, licensing, shielding, regulatory compliance, and project delivery for new and existing radiopharmaceutical facilities.
Locations: Erlangen (Germany), Venafro (Italy), Barcelona (Spain).
Flexible working: You may work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours. Mobile working from abroad is possible for up to 30 days a year under certain conditions and in selected countries.
Your tasks and responsibilities
You will work in close cross‐departmental collaboration from site design through start‐up,



leading the development of all relevant radiation safety and EHS processes and procedures.
You will be responsible for the generation, submission, and ongoing management of radioactive materials licensing documentation, including all required regulatory correspondence.
You will develop shielding designs for new facilities, new applications and new cyclotron installations.
You will conduct shielding verification and confirmatory surveys.
You will provide onsite support to ensure the correct implementation of radiation protection and EHS programs required for successful site operation.
You will review and submit all required decommissioning documentation.
You will provide onsite support as the licensee stakeholder to ensure successful execution of decommissioning activities.
You will manage projects to ensure that all required deadlines are met.
You will support sites during regulatory inspections to help secure and maintain regulatory approvals
