ppAs a Senior Accountant, you will be part of our Finance Accounting department and you will be responsible for the following tasks: /pulliPrepare monthly and annual financial statements and reports (Local and US GAAP) /liliPerform account reconciliation; troubleshoot and analyze discrepancies /liliEnsure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), tax laws, and internal policies and procedures /liliAnalyze and verify internal consistency, completeness and mathematical accuracy of accounting documents; make adjustments, as necessary /liliResponsible in preparing, adjusting and closing journal entries /liliAudit, review and verify accuracy of journal entries and accounting classifications assigned to various records /liliCoordinate accounting matters with other departments, locations and divisions. (i.e. Customer Service, Procurement, Warehouse, etc.) and with external accounting service firms /liliCoordinating with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory agencies to ensure the Financial Statement and Tax return comply with local laws and requirements /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3ulliBachelor’s Degree in Economics or related field /lili3-4 years’ experience in audit and accounting /liliThorough understanding of accounting principles, practices and procedures /liliStrong analytical and problem-solving skills /liliAbility to work independently and collaboratively /liliCapacity to work on multiple projects and deadlines /liliCapability to communicate effectively with internal and external parties; /liliFluency in Italian and English /liliVery good IT knowledge, in particular Excel, Oracle knowledge is a strong plus.
