You will lead the design of real-time embedded software, integrating Artificial Intelligence at the edge to process physiological signals and leveraging ROS2 for high-level system orchestration and middleware communication. We are looking for a developer who excels in low-level optimization while maintaining a high-level vision of software architecture and data flow. /p pbRESPONSIBILITIES /b /p ul liFirmware Engineering: Develop high-performance, real-time C/C++ code for ARM Cortex-M microcontrollers. /li liEdge AI Signal Processing: Integrate TinyML models and DSP algorithms for real-time pattern recognition (EMG/Inertial data). /li liMiddleware: Architect the communication layer using ROS2 for seamless data exchange. /li liSoftware Design: Build modular, scalable codebases using OOP principles and modern design patterns.



/li liQuality Testing: Ensure reliability through unit testing and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) simulation. /li liLeadership Docs: Mentor junior devs and maintain documentation compliant with MedTech standards (IEC 62304). /li /ul pbQUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED SKILLS /b /p ul liExperience: 3+ years in firmware development and embedded systems. /li liCore Tech: Expert C/C++, RTOS (FreeRTOS/Zephyr), and ROS2 framework, Python for data analysis/AI training, Knowledge of BLE, CAN, SPI, I2C. /li liAI/ML: Hands-on experience with Embedded AI workflows (quantization and MCU deployment). /li liPCB design: Expertise in PCB design with ECAD software (e.g., Altium, Eagle, KiCad) /li liPrototyping: Experience with PCB assembly and rework /li liTools: Mastery of Git, CMake, and debugging (J-Link, GDB, Logic Analyzers). /li liLanguages: Fluent in English and Italian. /li liMindset: Focused on clean code, innovation, and system stability. /li /ul pbSALARY RANGE: 35-45K€ /b(including basic, variable and other benefits). /p pThis position is open to all individuals regardless of gender, in accordance with Legislative Decree 198/2006.
