As part of the Security Engineering Team, the candidate will contribute to the design, development, testing and implementation of security software systems for space missions and governmental services.
This includes the design ofsecurity protocol, security architecturesandcryptographic solutions.The Security Engineering Team is involved in the newest cutting-edge projects of the European Space AgencyESAand the Italian Space AgencyASI, as well as supporting the major international industrial players of the sector.
What you will work on
Design, development, testing, and deploymentof space and ground systems, with particular focus on key management, telecommunication protocols for space applications, applied cryptography, and security services of satellite systems.
Support to the System Engineering,



including but not limited to requirements analysis, identification, and flow-down.
Drafting of technical documentationin compliance to relevant standards (e.g. ECSS, GSWS, CCSDS, etc.)
Security Risk Analysis and Assessment.
What do you need
Bachelor or Master's degree inComputer Science, Cybersecurity, or Computer Engineering.
2+ yearsof work experience as a software developer and designer in relevant domains (complex or networked software systems).
Professional experience in the design and development ofmulti?threaded software systems.
Knowledge of appliedcryptography(even if academic).
Solid understanding ofsoftware design principles.
Knowledge ofRustorC++program languages;
Good knowledge of written and spokenEnglish.
