ppbJob Purpose/Role /b /p pBased in Milan and reporting to the Risk Engineering Team, you will develop and execute the strategy for Constructions and Corporate Client risks in the Italian market. You will support the local strategy to achieve Allianz Mid Corporate targets and serve as the contact for agents/brokers working with the Risk Engineering Team. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liEnsure underwriters comply with underwriting authority, pricing, and rating guidelines. /li liSteer and control the local portfolio in conjunction with the Head of Engineering to drive financial targets. /li liProactively liaise with functional areas to review performance of the end‑to‑end underwriting life cycle. /li liWork closely with Sales, Risk Consulting, Claims and other product lines to achieve key marketing strategies, including cross‑selling. /li liEnsure underwriting consistency and discipline and adherence to all corporate guidelines and authority levels, including Rules and Principles, Underwriting Authorities, corporate governance rules and local regulatory framework. /li liProactively support the development and implementation of new and/or modified products. /li liSupport new business acquisition and retention of existing business, including agent and broker negotiations. /li liCommunicate local business strategy externally.



/li /ul h3Key Requirements / Skills / Experience /h3 ul liMaster's degree in Industrial, Civil, Construction or Mechanical Engineering. /li li8 to 15 years of proven experience underwriting profitable Risk Engineering for corporate and construction risks and Engineering Professional Firms. /li liProven leadership skills. /li liExpertise in risk assessment and a firm understanding of the policy administration life cycle. /li liSound knowledge of pricing, together with strong market analysis skills. /li liExperience designing, developing, and implementing consistent and robust wordings. /li liExperience driving underwriting projects. /li liEntrepreneurial mindset. /li liStrong communication skills. /li liAble to work in an international organization. /li liFluent in English and Italian (written and spoken). /li liExperience with data analytics. /li liVery good knowledge of Office 365 and other collaborative tools. /li /ul pPursuant to Article 5(1) of Legislative Decree No. 96 of 7 May 2026, the salary range for this position is €60,000–€75,000 gross. /p pEmployment will be subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the National Collective Labor Agreement for Insurance Companies and the applicable Company Agreement. /p pBoth genders may apply in accordance with the L. 903/77 (s.m.i). /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
