Exploration, evaluation and implementation of emerging technologies in automation and robotization, supporting Diasorin’s Immuno Operations.br/ This role combines strategic thinking, technical expertise, and cross-functional collaboration to streamline processes, enhance operational efficiency, product quality, and sustainability.br/ h3Key Duties And Responsibilities /h3 ul liTechnology Scouting Evaluation: Research market trends and emerging technologies in automation and robotization, assessing their feasibility and impact on Diasorin’s industrial processes. /li liProcess Optimization: Design and implement strategies to integrate new technologies that streamline processes, enhance efficiency, reduce energy consumption and improve product quality /li liStakeholder Engagement:



Partner with functional stakeholders, including Site Leaders and Department Heads, to translate business needs into technical requirements, apply lean principles and promote technology adoption through solid business cases. /li liCross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Production, EHS, Quality Assurance and IT, to ensure successful technology deployment. /li liPrototyping Project Leadership: Lead pilot projects and design experiments to test the effectiveness and efficiency of new technologies, from concept to implementation and evaluation. /li liStrategic Planning Budgeting: Support Top Management short/mid/long term investment decisions and contribute to the long-term strategic plan for automation and robotization. /li liKnowledge Management: Maintain technical records of research, evaluation and implementation, train staff on new technologies and lead a global community of automation experts across industrial sites. /li liPerformance Compliance Monitoring: Define and maintain KPIs/KAIs to drive the innovation process and ensure all automation solutions comply with GxP and industry standards. /li liIndustrialization: Assess the impact of new technologies on industrialization processes and automation integration. /li /ul h3Education, Experience, And Qualifications /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree in Industrial, Automation or Mechanical Engineering or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred. /li liMinimum of 5 years in Industrial Engineering or Automation design fields. Experience in Pharma / Diagnostics companies as a plus. /li liBlend engineering expertise, creative problem-solving skills and a passion for continuous improvement.



/li liStrong understanding of manufacturing Processes/Equipment/Automation /li liExperience with digitalization I4.0 and I5.0 framework /li liBasic Lean methods and tools /li liProven track record in managing automation projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery /li liFinancial acumen /li liUnderstanding of GxP regulations and compliance requirements. /li liSoftware development skills, including ML/AI tools, as a plus /li liProficiency in CAD software, statistical analysis tools and project management software as a plus /li liEffective Communication skills. Proactive approach. Ability to think creatively and drive innovative solution. Ability to work autonomously. Strong analytical mindset. /li liFluency in English. Italian and other languages as a plus. /li liWillingness to travel up to 40% for business trips and longer missions.
