Sales Executive - New Building Marine and Navy

Specialista Senior / Project Manager

In this role you drive sales growth in the passenger ship sector for Johnson Controls, focusing on newbuilds, retrofits and service contracts. You will build and manage relationships with shipyards, owners and operators across Europe, Asia and the Americas, aligning solutions with marine regulations. Working with engineering and service teams, you tailor HVAC, fire safety and control solutions to customer needs. This is a global, cross-functional role with travel, trade shows and a clear focus on expanding our marine market presence.

- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan for the passenger ship market, targeting newbuilds, retrofits and service contracts
- Build and maintain relationships with shipyards, naval architects, vessel owners and operators to position Johnson Controls as a trusted partner
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across Europe, Asia and the Americas using market intelligence
- Collaborate with engineering, project management and service teams to deliver tailored marine solutions
- Represent Johnson Controls at marine trade shows,



industry events and customer meetings to boost brand visibility
- Maintain accurate forecasts, pipeline data and customer records using CRM tools
- Ensure compliance with marine regulations and Johnson Controls’ quality standards
- Proven track record in B2B sales, preferably in marine, shipbuilding or maritime equipment sectors
- Extensive international sales experience with a focus on new build projects in passenger ships
- Strong understanding of the passenger ship ecosystem, procurement cycles and technical requirements
- Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑building skills
- Ability to work independently and travel internationally as required
- Technical background or familiarity with HVAC, fire safety or automation systems is a plus
- Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Fluency in English; other languages a plus
- Proficient in CRM management (Salesforce preferred)
