Consults internally with the Engineering Department concerning quotations, if needed. Technical sizing and usage of simulation tools. /p pCommunicates with sub-suppliers regarding technical questions and prices not readily available within the organization. /p h3Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities include /h3 ul liCreate and calculate estimations, quotations, and revisions according to customer inquiries and needs /li liAnswer technical inquiries by customers on estimations, quotations, and projects /li liAble to read and understand electrical heat exchanger and control panel specifications /li liEnsure accurate estimation, quotation, and project data in Thermon ERP system, Thermon CPQ system and other relevant (engineering) systems /li liEnsure accurate estimation, quotation, and project data by collecting information from sub-suppliers,



when information is not readily available in the company /li liCommunicate effectively with customers /li liMaintain files and accurately document all data /li liCompile budgetary or detailed calculations and transfer these into competitive (total lowest cost of ownership) proposals, using our price list structure /li liSupport the engineering department in clarifying design issues related to the transfer from offer to detail design /li /ul h3Key Characteristics, Competencies and Skills /h3 ul liStrong organisational, analytical and commercial skills /li liStructured and well-organized approach /li liStrong written oral communication and negotiation skills /li liUnderstand complex technical matters related to process heating; demonstrated understanding of technology, i.e. complexities of products and costs /li liWorking knowledge of CRM, MS office and ERP systems /li liEnthusiastic, flexible and can work on own initiative /li liExperience of business to business within technical markets and industries would be an asset /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liA locally respected degree in engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience /li li2 years relevant work experience /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
