Job Title: EMEA Supplier Development Engineer- Mechanical/Plastic commodity Location: Italy – Condove (TO) Reports To: Global Supplier Development Manager / Global Quality Director About Casco: Casco is an Amphenol Company with over 100 years of experience in sensor and module development. What will you do Drive supplier quality improvement initiatives across the EMEA supply base.
Develop and execute supplier development plans based on supplier performance, risk assessments, and business needs.
Monitor supplier KPIs including PPM, warranty performance, customer complaints, delivery performance, and audit results.
Support supplier capability enhancement through coaching, training, and implementation of best practices.
Lead supplier escalation activities and recovery plans for underperforming suppliers.
Supplier Audits & Assessments Plan and conduct supplier process audits in accordance with:

VDA 6.3
Customer Specific Requirements (CSR)
CASCO Supplier Quality Requirements
Perform supplier maturity and readiness assessments for new and existing suppliers.
Evaluate manufacturing processes following CQI or OEM standards
Ensure timely closure and verification of audit findings.
New Product Launch Support Support supplier selection and qualification activities from Quality perspective.
Participate in supplier sourcing decisions and technical risk assessments.
Review and approve supplier APQP deliverables.
Conduct Run-at-Rate and process validation assessments.
Review manufacturing readiness and process capability.
Support successful PPAP approval and launch readiness.
Ensure suppliers achieve production readiness prior to SOP
Ensure compliance with special characteristics and customer-specific requirements.
Which level of Education we prefere? Bachelor's Degree (Industrial or Mechanical Engineering preferable).
Whick kind of experience/knowledge are we looking for? Minimum 10 years of experience in international automotive companies in Supplier Quality Engineering, Development and Manufacturing Engineering.
Experience with automotive Tier-1 or OEM environment preferred.
Experience auditing manufacturing processes and suppliers across multiple countries.
Skills: Experience in the automotive industry required: strong skills in plastics engineering, manufacturing of plastic automotive parts and electronic components
Understanding and interpretation of engineering drawings.
Strong knowledge of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) and Problem solving methodology
Experience in conducting supplier audits and evaluating quality management systems
Advanced interpersonal skills managing supplier relationships.
Proficiency in project management skills with the ability to close initiatives on time.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently in a dynamic global environment.
Planning and prioritizing activities
Ability to influence suppliers and drive change
Strong negotiation and influential skills
Strong leadership and coaching skills
Travel Requirements Up to 50% travel within EMEA and occasional global travel.
