For our italian HQ inCinisello Balsamo (MI), we are now seeking aSenior Accountantto join our fantastic team.
This role is suited for an experienced accounting professional with astrong operational profile, able to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of accounting data, while contributing to acontinuously evolving finance environment.
The Senior Accountant works in and with the Finance team, supporting core accounting activities with a particular focus ongeneral ledger, payroll and T&E; accounting, tax operational activities, and fixed assets, and providing stability and reliability to the overall close process.
The position reports directly to theHead of Finance Italy.
Key ResponsibilitiesGeneral Ledger & Closing SupportPerform and managegeneral ledger accounting activities, including journal entries, accruals, provisions, and balance sheet reconciliations.
Actively supportmonth?end, quarter?end, and year?end closing activities, ensuring deadlines are met and accounting data is accurate and complete.
Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for closing and reporting purposes.
Payroll, T&E; & Tax Operational AccountingPerform postings and reconciliation activities related topayroll costs, social charges,



and related balance sheet accounts, incl.
coordination with external providers.
ManageT&E; accounting and reconciliations, ensuring correct posting and consistency between systems and the general ledger.
Supporttax?related operational accounting activities, including postings, reconciliations, and monitoring of tax balances, incl.
coordination with external providers, with flexibility to support a broader in?house scope in the future.
Fixed Assets AccountingManagefixed assets accounting, including capitalization, depreciation, disposals, and reconciliations.
Maintain accurate and up?to?datefixed asset records, ensuring consistency with accounting entries and supporting documentation.
Interfaces & Audit SupportAct as backup and accounting interface forAP and AR activities, ensuring correct integration into the general ledger.
Performreconciliations between subledgers and the GL, including monitoring clearing and suspense accounts.
Supportinternal and external audits, preparing documentation and providing explanations for assigned accounting areas.
Adaptability & Problem SolvingOperate effectively in a changing environment, contributing tocontinuous improvementof accounting practices and processes.
Identify issues, discrepancies, or inefficiencies and address them with apragmatic and solution?oriented approach.




Collaborate proactively within the Finance team to ensure consistency, continuity, and reliability of accounting operations.
Qualifications and ExperienceBachelor's degree in Economics.
6-10 years of professional experiencein operational accounting roles, audit, or similar environments.
Strong hands?on experience ingeneral ledger accounting and financial close activities.
Solid operational experience withpayroll accounting, T&E; accounting, tax postings and reconciliations, and fixed assets.
Practical experience working withERP systems(e.g. SAGE, SAP, Oracle, or similar) and strongExcel skills.
High attention to detail combined with a structured and reliable execution mindset.
Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively within ateam?based and international environment.
Fluent English (minimum B2 level), written and spoken.
