Mission
Position will report to the Supply Chain Strategy Manager and manage New Product Introduction and R&D; Supply Chain activities. Primary contact between Supply Chain and Program Management/Engineering offices.
Responsibilities
- Scout and qualify new suppliers; solid technical understanding of machining processes, equipment and manufacturing technologies.
- Manage all aspects of the project from Gate 1 (Bid) to Gate 5 (OE Production), ensuring achievement of objectives.
- Execute project plan and schedule to meet business case requirements for Supply Chain, RC, NRC & Capex Support costing during the bid process.
- Define sourcing strategy with Commodities, ensure NDA coverage, handle RFQ/Negotiation, coordinate NPI Supplier Selection Review, support supplier review, place and manage PO, follow Customer reviews.
- Coordinate industrialization, manage supplier delivery and quality performance to meet project requirements.
- Establish and manage supplier relationships to provide best competitive advantage.
- Support initiatives to reduce/contain cost, improve material flow, evaluate capacity, manage material obsolescence.
- Provide day‑to‑day support to the Integrated Project Team activities on risk, problem resolution, and hardware achievement.
- Define, review, and track on‑time delivery using LOB or WIP tracker,
cost adherence, release drawings, technical information to suppliers.
- Support engineering team in design for manufacture and cost.
Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering (Aerospace or Mechanical preferred).
- 3–5 years of proven experience leading complex projects on time and within budget, preferably in aerospace development.
- Good knowledge of project management techniques, including scheduling and risk management.
- Excellent organizational, teamwork, communication, writing and problem‑solving skills.
- Fluent in English.
- Willingness to travel internationally ≥20 % of the time.
- Microsoft Office and SAP capability preferred.
