/ppThe bCivil Structural Concrete Engineer /b is generally assigned to a project and he/she is in charge of producing documents and deliverables assigned by the Civil Project Leader related to Concrete discipline.
He/She reports to the Civil Project Leader or to the Concrete Specialist for the peculiarities of the project and to the Group Leader / Head of Department for man?hours assignment and quality of the deliverables.
/ppIn particular main activities and duties will be: /pulliTo guarantee the quality of the generated deliverables and their compliance with the contractual and company standards, procedures and work instructions; /liliTo cooperate with the Project Leader and Concrete Specialists in the coordination of the activities related to the Concrete discipline,



regardless of the location and distribution of the engineering centres; /liliTo manage and issue design calculations reports and specifications, to check drawings and documents relevant to reinforced concrete and/or precast concrete, on the basis given by the Group Leader, in agreement with the Civil Project Leader; /liliTo integrate the Concrete work design on the basis of the project data received from other engineering disciplines as instructed by the Project Leader; /liliTo check and approve Vendor's document (i.e. subcontractor construction design documents ); /liliTo guarantee assistance to the construction departments and site upon request, in reference to his area of competence, as per project needs and in coordination with the Project Leader; /liliTo conduct technical training as per department needs and exchange experience with colleagues of the entire Tecnimont Group for new Design techniques; /liliTo keep himself up?to?date about the technical specific improvement of the discipline; /li /ulpbPersonal Attributes: /b /pulliMinimum Bachelor, plus Master's degree in Civil engineering is preferred /liliFrom 4 to 8 years of experience in concrete design/coordination, preferable in plant engineering companies in petrochemical, oil gas, power or in a technical design office /liliGood knowledge of European and international codes and standards /liliGood knowledge in AutoCad 2D drawings for modifying documents /liliUser friendly in Autodesk Navisworks /liliKnowledge of collaborative environment such as BIM360 /liliFluent English speaker and writer is a must /liliAvailability to travel for short and long period (max 3 months) /liliPlus: /liliKnowledge of FEM Civil Structural Design Software, such as SAP****, STAAD /liliKnowledge of Autodesk Revit /liliExperience in Precast and or Pre-Stressed concrete structures /liliBasic knowledge of Project Management is a plus (e.g. Progress S?Curve) /liliInternational background /li /ulpSeniority level: Mid?Senior level /ppEmployment type: Full?time /ppJob function: Oil and Gas, Design Services, and Oil, Gas, and Mining /ppReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at TECNIMONT by 2x /ppSan Giovanni la Punta, Sicily, Italy 2 weeks ago /p /p #J-*****-Ljbffr
