/p h3This Position Reports To /h3 pHead of Financial Markets Risk Management /p pReporting to the Head of Financial Markets Risk Management in Corporate treasury team of ABB Robotics, your responsibilities will include analyzing exposures, implementing risk management processes and execute transactions in alignment with Financial Markets Risk Management Framework.
You will contribute to end-to-end processes that identify and mitigate risks arising from fluctuations in foreign exchange rates, interest rates, and commodity prices.
Your help to guide our business in developing effective risk mitigation strategies, ensuring the stability and growth of our business and support business stakeholders in analyzing the performance related to Financial Markets Risk Management.




/p pThe work model for the role is: hybrid; /p pPreferred location: Poland, Czech Republic (other European locations possible) /p h3Your Responsibilities Include /h3 ul liFinancial Market Risk Strategy Oversight: build a global perspective on financial market risks and their impact on ABB Robotics /li liMarket Execution Investments: collect exposures from business, carry out the execution of financial markets transactions, including FX, interest rate, and commodity derivatives /li liExposure Analysis Reporting: Participate in analysing market price movements and their effects on derivative hedge contracts, supporting business units in understanding the financial implications of market rate fluctuations and hedging activities on the financial statements.
/li liBusiness Advisory Stakeholder Engagement: support business teams in understanding of market exposures, hedging activities, and associated risks; collaborate closely with banking partners and internal stakeholders.
/li liTreasury Systems Trading platform: ensure the correctness of data in Treasury Management System related to financial markets data and transactions.
/li liControls Compliance:



ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and other internal / external policies; perform and document controls relevant for Financial Market Risk Management activities; support internal and external audit.
/li /ul h3Qualifications For The Role /h3 ul liBachelor's in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
/li liMinimum of 5 years' experience in treasury financial markets financial risk management, ideally in a corporate environment.
/li liSolid knowledge about derivatives and financial instruments (foreign exchange, interest rates, and commodity derivatives) with understanding of associated risks.
/li liKnowledge about Treasury Management System (e.g., Kyriba) and Trade / Risk System (e.g., FXALL, Refinitiv Workspace, etc.).
/li liStrong business acumen, with an understanding of how market risks and hedging strategies impact business performance and financial reporting; solid understanding of financial statements, including the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement.
/li liExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a structured approach to analysing complex issues and developing effective solutions; ability to communicate complex topics clearly and effectively to business partners and management.
/li liRecognized team player with excellent collaboration, business partnering, and communication skills /li liProficient in oral and written English /li /ul pWe value people from different backgrounds.
