Responsibilities

- Greeting guests upon arrival with a warm and welcoming demeanor
- Offering assistance and providing information about the hotel’s facilities and services
- Assisting guests with the transportation of luggage to and from their rooms
- Safely handling and transporting guest belongings with care
- Assisting guests with parking and retrieving their vehicles
- Escorting guests to their rooms and explaining the features of the room and hotel
- Offering assistance with directions and local information
- Monitoring and ensuring the security of the lobby and entrance
- Collaborating with the front desk and other departments to provide seamless service
- Maintaining a warm and friendly demeanor at all times, whilst remaining genuine
- Handling multiple tasks simultaneously, such as assisting guests, managing luggage, and providing information
- Maximizing efforts toward productivity, identifying problem areas,



and assisting in implementing solutions
- Maintaining regular attendance in compliance with Aethos Hotel Standards, as required by scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the hotel

Qualifications

- Fluent in English and Italian is a must
- 2+ years of hospitality experience
- Collaborative and communicative, accomplishing tasks efficiently
- Natural host with passion for the hospitality industry
- Strong communication and management skills, communicating with hosts and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service‑oriented manner
- Capable of prioritizing departmental functions to meet deadlines
- Flexible schedule—long hours and regular evening event coverage is common
- Effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns raised by employees and guests
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality of guests, employees, and information
- Compliant with Aethos Hotel Standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations
- Exceptional at multitasking, with the ability to assist guests, manage luggage, and provide information simultaneously
